SPECIAL GUEST POLICE CHIEF TIM LENTZ
All of us at the New Orleans Mission and the Giving Hope Retreat are grateful to God for the great honor to work with numerous police departments and especially the Chief of Police for the city of Covington, Chief Tim Lentz. Chief Lentz went live on our show this past weekend to share his heart behind the badge in helping men and women who are struggling and hurting, and in many cases treated as if they are worthless. In a time where the police have been targeted as the enemy, this lie has been exposed that the police do care and love the hurting, and more than that, are Gods instrument here on earth. Are there evil and corrupt people who where a badge? Yes, just as much as there our evil people who are priests or business executives or fathers and mothers. All people need the truth, the truth of Jesus Christ who came for sinners, which we all are. Thank you chief Lentz and all the police departments who have partnered with the New Orleans Mission to help lost and hurting people!

LIVE RESCUE OFF THE STREETS OF NEW ORLEANS
Over the past few weeks over 20 people from the streets of New Orleans have called into the show to speak with Johnny L. Many were addicted to drugs like Heroin and Crack Cocaine and a few were suicidal and desperately reaching out for help. Eight of the callers were delivered to the New Orleans Mission by our outreach team the very night they called into the show and were immediately admitted to the Mission.
